Ups and downs, downs and ups
Song of the moment: Right here (Departed) -Brandy

When you feel your heart's guarded And you see the break's started When the clouds have all departed You'll be right here with me

Hej hej! How's it going kompis? Life's been insanely sweet this week. The fact that the first quarter is done and the 2 exams are over is like a touch of cherry on top of of the fantastic time so far. Everything's been good, with the exception of yet another dramatic evening last Wednesday. As usual. Not something I would ask for (duh!) but shit happens...right?

But anyway, Malmo had been splendid. Haha not that I would say we manage to capture the sights ad sounds in entirety, but the adventure that basically encapsulates the whole trip was definitely adrenaline-punching, if there's such an adjective to describe it. Haha! Like I said, the whole trip was impulsive. Jamie basically sold his marketing-sales person-'sensible' bullshit to Angela and I and while we both belaboured the costs of the decision, he actually managed to reel us in with those bullshit. Well, what can I say, Jamie's the man. So in less that 18 hours, Daniel and Jamie planned the itinerary to Malmo. Haha insane. And since Olga (Spanish Olga) is going back already, we made the trip a tribute to her. Awesomeness lah!

To less bore you with words and excite you with sights (haha), here's the crux from Malmo...

The fountain near the square was basically where all of us got insanely crazy and did all the stupid stuff which includes acting like lunatics and gung ho pai kias and making videos out of those scene. But the best video we did would be the fountain dance. Unfortunately I can't rip it off but you guys would know which one I'm referring to if you're on FB. Haha!

After getting our freaks on, we headed to the club (apparently they said it was the biggest in Scandinavia...or so they said) and danced from 12 to 4 until our feet died. Upon that, we walked to the bridge, and half way gave up before we hailed the cab. Took pictures at the bridge which connects Sweden to Denmark (Malmo to Copenhagen) and then let the wind wake us up. It's no joke to be up all night and suffering in the cold. The wind at the beach almost froze me to death, but it was all in good fun.

Saw the Turning Torso, which basically is a building with funky architecture which probably reminds you of a cross between Singapore's The Concourse and Dubai's Burj Al Arab somehow.

Went to the Botanic Gardens and felt like we were in some mystical, magical Hansel 'n' Gretel meet Hogsmeade meet Wizard of Oz kinda setting.

    They've got windmills yea!!

And then...we knocked out at the Central Station...

    Yay. The end of Malmo.

And then, on Wednesday, Canadian Dan had his birthday party at Sockertoppen in Raslatt, We had our preparty there before heading to Akad.

Okay yay! So that's the week in summation. Spain is waiting next week! Girona, Barcelona and Valencia! All hail the Spanish land!

    Hej da! Till next time!
