    Lunar New Year in Jonkoping
Song of the moment: Hanging by a moment - Lifehouse

Hej hej! Time for an update...Nothing much have happened over the last week besides the fact that school has started. Some lessons are incredible really, and I'm enjoying Swedish Level 1 very much. Learning a new language is often refreshing, (and to a certain extent cathartic if you ask me, you know, like a child learning to speak? Just a thought...) And for the first time of my life (okay that's a lie but hey dramatic effect here please!) I am very into learning this new language. Considering the hat trick failed attempt at learning other languages on my own (i.e: German, French and Spanish) in my life. Hurhur. And what better way to learn a language than being in a setting which promotes the usage of such. Therefore thus! Behold my new found passion in learning Swedish!

Other than that work is already piling up like cow dung, as always. I've got a website to be done entirely on Photoshop due Tuesday (some group project you wouldn't wanna know) and a group meeting for Visual Communication tomorrow. Kinda liking it though, giving me the adrenaline that I somehow morbidly enjoy from WORK. Weird. But anyway I got to admit my schedule is pretty packed during the school days for this quarter. Lessons here are intense...they have like 3 hours lessons at one go. But it's cool..tortured now and free later! I'll have just a module to clear in the 2nd quarter. So hurrah to me (in the 2nd quarter at least).

School work aside...TODAY. The bestest day so far (apart from all the parties and networking shitz). We celebrated CNY here in Angela & my apartment in Grashagen and it was LOADS of fun!

Jamie & Dan planned a get-together such that each of us Singapore kids invite another international friend over (albeit at the end of it all we over invite, but heck everyone was happy!). We cooked in and had the best dinner (Oh Asian Supermarker Thou Art the Saviour Thou Art the Great!) Although I got to say I really apologise for the delay in food preparation. Our guests actually arrived before the food were ready so we were frantically searching for more stove to cook to speed up the preparation process. We had sushi and Hainanese Chicken Rice and spring rolls and a lot a lot other food. It was AWESOME!

Somehow the sense of belonging to the "family" I've got here is strengthened after today, and I really feel good about it. To a great year ahead to these people here...and to the family back at home...loving you always. :)

P/s: haha yes that's ugly duckling being domesticated right there. Yes COOKING. surprisesurprise.

P/s/s: Today was REAAALLLY good? For some reason or another.

    Much love,
