JONKOPING... so far.hey hey! I finally got my internet connection up yesterday (oh gateway to the world!) and I only got the time to sit down and blog now. So we got here to Jonkoping on Saturday evening (5pm Sweden time) and Esa drove us here. Helped us find the uni accomodation office, got our keys and then brought us to our apartment. We couldn't havebeen anymore thankful. The Koskis were really really nice to us that they gave us a good transition in our stay here. So now we're all on our own, and this, baby, is the real deal. But anyhoos life is so much fun when you have your fellow like-minded homz to hang with, ya know? When we finally met the other Singaporean contingent, I knew I was home. Haha! There are about 5 other SMU people and 3 other NTU dudes besides Angela and myself. Jamie and Daniel are the best lah honestly, they're like my brothers already I swear. The place is TRES GORGEOUS, minus snow. There isn't any snow here and I'm sad. Boo. The snow melted before we arrived here, but I'm hoping it will come back sometime later this month or something. (global warming people global warming the ice are melting!!!) But the temperature is fine, it's seldom sub-zero, just ranging about -1 to 3 on most days. The wind is a killer though, Jamie, Dan and I sought the thrill of being hobos and stuck around the back alley of their hostel while they took a hookie. Super fun. I swear nothing beats the thrill of staying outdoors in the wind in just tshirts and jeans (and slippers for Jamie). Haha! Welcome to Singapore people. Welcome home. Lol. Okay...I got another orientation programme later today but guess I'll update more later when I have the time. Lately it's been only the best hanging with the bros, Akademien again tonight maybe? We'll see we'll see. Okay love y'all! Syida
