Tick-tock...look at the clock!
I think this is when I acknowledge the cold hard truth about the fact that time flies when you are finally doing something proper. In the final month before departure (and yes, I realise this is my first entry of the blog, so hello I wish you), I have gotten myself into a commitment in the form of a JOB. Damn capitalism life is only much more fun when you have enough $$$ to make the best of life. Therefore the JOB. Daily in and out, 9-4, call here call there and call everywhere. But the money's good so let's countdown to payday! Well but anyways, it's fine. It does seem like time is ticking and yay! Countdown to Sweden: THIRTY-SIX DAYS! Date check: December 3rd. My my my, it's December already and the festive season in Singapore (i.e: Hari Raya Haji on 8th and Christmas on 25th) in the following weeks will reduce the number of working days. Thing is I have a habit of looking at the clock at work every day and counting down to going back so essentially yes, now I know why time flies. But the downside? My best friends are going to leave the country even much sooner. Take this: before the new year. Syaf and Neem will be off to Monterrey, Mexico on the 29th while Farah will be leaving for Atlanta, US on the 31st or something. I do hope time will be fair to let me hang out with them more before we all cry our hearts out at the airport to physical separation of 6 months or so. Sad story aside, let's not get too bogged down with the negativities. I guess we'll look on the bright side and that is: I'm going to step onto a European land for the first time in my life! Yes, been my life dream to do that honestly. So till then, I'll go get busy and excited for the month ahead! Till later, enjoy your December! Syida
